Not an asphalt setup, but this has been working really well for me on carpet. My current mod and 17.5 setups are very close.

The TC4 rear arms allow the car to be driven very aggressively without...

That sucker may be kinda slow then. <0.10/60° sec is a reasonable speed with torque >160 oz-in. I prefer high speed servos over high toque for racing.

4wd is a little more demanding than 2wd. Faster, heavier, bigger tires, all wheel drive, etc. That being said, 160ish is alright. I was more inquiring if the OP was intending to use high voltage.

Don't think it matters that much as far as air flow. More chassis mounting surface area in front if you're using a big fan. Have to be using a shorty servo though. I have to add a ton of brass with a...

Nice track. Seems pretty fast and open to me, but that's all relative. I can say, my car turned pretty well in 180s with 10/500/5 in the diff. Now with 5/500/3 it rotates like crazy. The 500 makes...

Yea 64 pitch for finer gearing adjustments. Possibly quieter and more efficient as well. Kev even uses 84 pitch sometimes. Maybe that's just a Canadian thing 😁
