If you do want to put a 1/8 sized motor in, you'll need this motor mount part (TKR5211X) for the can to clear the chassis. Also for most 4S batteries, you'd need longer battery straps.

If your motor has a diameter greater than 36mm (most 1/8 application motors do), believe you’ll need to replace part TKR5212 that comes with the SCT410.3 with TKR5211x.

I think most just eyeball toe-in/out setting on the front, and for optimal performance you'll also want to make sure the left and right turnbuckles are the exact same length using calipers.

Using Mugen gaskets in diffs, I shimmed per manual (2x shims behind each sun gear and 1x shim behind each spider gear) and diff mesh seemed ok.

YMMV, build to feel IMO.
