How to remove transmission bearing

Small bearing in trans case will not pry out. No access to punch out from the outside of the case. Anyone know a way to get out without damaging the bearing.

Metal Shims OK?

Needed to tighten up the front steering rack on my sc10 and used thin metal washers instead of plastic washers. Anyone know if plastic is a must or will metal be ok and not wear out steering knuckles...

If you already have a transmission case (the 2 pieces that the differential goes into) the gear diff will fit right in. The transmission case is the same for a gear diff or ball diff.
