Yes, doing exactly that. I just can't find any info about the 2nd lead. The receiver powered up when I connected it with just one lead, I may try to connect the 2nd one to the batt socket and see.

Yes, it looks to me that Hobbywing has stepped up quite a bit. I looked at the XR8 as well, but the AXE is waterproofed, so that is probably going to be quite essential for me.
