I think the proline blockade in combination with a rib tire is a good starting point.
Upgrades are not really needed. Maybe just some lead for under the battery.

if you have 2 springs with same wire diameter...

if you have 2 springs with same wire diameter then the spring with less windings is harder. (look at the old springs).
If the distance between the windings of the new springs is even getting bigger...
