I think they put the connectors in the box in case you need to lengthen the wires. Otherwise you don't need them. Just solder the wires directly to the motor. You can actually unplug the connectors...

If all you're going to be doing is bashing than just buy the 3.0 RTR. I have one and the motor ESC combo performs great. All you need to add to it is a battery. Use the code "MAR40" and you'll get it...

My ESC has a fan(BEC?) so I think it will power the card by itself. So you're saying just plug the ESC/throttle wire into the signal slot on the card and turn on the ESC and that's all I should have...
