One-Way diffs in 2017
Hi!
Anyone out there still using one way diffs in touring cars?
I never liked the heavy-handed approach to driving that a spool needs, and the extra cornering speed that a one way gives is just great.
I remember a few years back, one ways were in fashion, all the fast guys were using them. What happened?

I think they've just gone out of fashion as the 'current' style of TC driving seems to involve being very heavy handed with the throttle and steering and letting the chassis flex make up for the lack of finesse.

From the top of my head I can only remember USVTA having them actually outlawed. (But I don't claim to be familiar with US races and classes, so there may be more.)

I'm gonna try my luck at 17.5t blinky racing, the one way could be a real advantage with the lower power.
After seeing how fast the modern mod cars are when the boost kicks in on the straight, there's no way they can brake from that speed without a spool, even though it makes them a bit slower in the turns.
