Default Need some wicked n00b help here.

I have by no means a nice RC car, it's just one from radio shack, but it has a problem. It seems like the motor sticks, but if i hold the forward drive button, and give it a push, it unsticks and moves fine. Any ideas what this is?

I wounder if it could be the batteries. If he lifts the car up off the ground does it still hang up oor do the wheels go then. If it goes then the motor is pulling to many amps tring to take off. Just a other thought on this.

Does it have reveirce? If so try it in revirce and see iif it does then. If not it is more then likely said the brushes ar hanging up.
