Default Broken wishbone

Hi,
I'm sure you get a few of these threads shortly after Xmas and I know it's just a toy but please bear with me!
My 4 year old just snapped the wishbone on his Nikko RC car. Is there any way I'm going to be able to fix this? I saw an article suggesting melting plastic with a soldering iron to repair plastic parts. Is there any point at all in me getting the tools out or should we just wave goodbye to grandma's money and chalk it up to experience?
I was surprised how easily the thing broke. Are there any majes out

If it's a relatively clean break, you can use "plasti-zap". It vulcanizes plastic and fuses it together without fussing around with heat. I've done it a few times on my oldest truck. It's not perfect but it works.
