Default Electric w/ nitro parts?

Is it possible to use the nitro spare parts, to fix aa electric car?
the car is a tc3.
My problem is that here, electric is not very popular here, and it's hard to find replacements.
I know that nitro is 200 mm wide, whereas an electric is 190 mm. Would that be like a rally conversion (without the shocks and tires)?

I'm not sure of that. It's hard finding nitro parts that would fit in the tc3. But could you just order from the internet??

Yeah well, .....
That is a huge problem ordering online, I just made a purchase off towerhobbies, total of 100$ (merchandise + shipping). I had to pay 55$ tax to get it in the country. Imagine!!!!!
That is why I ask, can I ust the parts of the NTC3 to fix my TC3 when somthing'll break?

i'm not sure whether ntc3 parts fit the tc3.. go ask around the racers in your place... try to compare your car with theirs..

doubt it'll fit. ntc3 suspension was designed from ground up, not based on tc3. eg. ntc3 uses pivot ball in the front suspension

The TC3 and Nitro TC3 uses the same differentials. The driveshafts may be the same but I am not sure. Probably not because the NTC3 is wider.

Any differential part will be compatible. I'm not sure about anything else. Ball cups, rod ends, body posts, bumper foam, tires, wheels, wheel hexs, and any other small universal piece will fit, or can be easily made to fit. The shocks may be the same but again I am not entirely sure. The best bet is to see if the part numbers match in a manual. Go to www.RCDocuments.com for a generous listing of part catalouges and manuals. Let us know how everything works out!
