Default Online Hobby Stores??

Hello
Besides tower hobbies and Amain where are most people buying their Parts and kits??? I don't really like driving around to Hobby stores since traffic in CA is crazy only to find the store doesnt have what i'm looking for. But the same time I see a lot of online places have "instock" but all they are doing is ordering from bigger stores or manufactures.

I like to give the business to stores that actually stock the item when they advertise " instock". I order a few random item like rims, tires and get an email stating your item will ship 7 days later.

Thanks
Kenny

In addition to those mentioned (+1 for Stormer), http://www.rpphobby.com/Default.asp is pretty good as well and if I need/want something direct from Asia, http://banzaihobby.com/ is my choice as they're out of Japan. If you avoid the "Ships from warehouse USA!!!!!" places, you'll tend to avoid most of the not-really-in-stock after you've waited a week emails.

I check Amazon and its tentants first, then check Ebay stores. Also TQRacing.

My local hobby stores are not very good. They don't have much of anything besides RTR and some domestic brands. I buy all my gear online from vendors in the USA, including directly from manufacturers.

I buy from eBay, RPP Hobby, Stormer Hobbies, and Tower Hobbies. AMain sucks in my experience. I've had nothing, but horrible experiences with them so I stopped using them.

I buy quite a bit from Ebay sellers. Some are chop shops but quite a number are real hobby shops, selling new items online. Go Nitro Hobbies, Atomik RC, RC Superstore, are a few I have bought from recently. Myself, I like spare parts on hand. I do have some favorite chop shops I use as well.

You can always call your credit card company to dispute the charge.

A quick thought on buying RC stuff from Amazon - I've yet to see a single item on there the price of which couldn't be beaten with 30 seconds or less worth of searching on one of the "RC-oriented" online stores. It's kinda cool to see them carrying higher-grade RC stuff but at least for the stuff I've seen, they're not real players in the marketplace yet.

Free 2 day prime shipping, ability to use Amazon points, excellent customer support is what keeps me returning to Amazon as first place to check.

I also like their 'fulfilled by Amazon' items by vendors you might also find on eBay. Just the convenience makes it worthwhile for me. No need to have to link up paypal, etc too. I just hit add to cart, proceed to buy, done.

But their line up is still limited so I also do a lot of buying from eBay stores too.
