REVO 3.3 what scale does it fall under?

Default REVO 3.3 what scale does it fall under?
The Revo 3.3 is advertised as a 1/10 truck it's width is 17.5 inches (444.5mm) IFMAR 2.1.b Overall width - 310mm maximum at any point of suspension travel
The IFMAR rule mentioned above is for 1/8

Can someone please explain?

Really depends on what you are trying to do. As you said, it's sold as a 1/10 scale. I practice I've always seen it tossed into 1/8 scale classes/classification.

If you are just bashing around, doesn't really matter.
