Default Tires off when storing buggy?

Yep, that sounds like a rookie question.

I see all the experienced racers at my local track and most pics online seem to show Buggies with the wheels off. I'm guessing that is because they own many sets and are keeping their tires fresh...

But how should I store my B44.3 when not in use for a day or so? Tires on the buggy and sitting on my bench so it sits normally? Wheels off and car on a stand so the arms droop? What is best?

Take the tires off, clean them and store back in the ziplock bags they came in,
this will keep the rubber fresh. Dried dirt will suck the moisture right out of
rubber. And unless your gonna keep it on a stand the inserts will flat spot
supporting the car.

I made a rookie mistake a while back leaving the tyres on the car. They had a flot spot for a while. Now I take them off and put them back in the bags they came in, as mentioned above.

Store the buggy on a stand. Keeps pressure off the shocks, reduces leaking.

THANKS!

Yes, that all makes perfect sense. Tires in the ziplock bag they came in and car off the ground to keep pressure off the shocks.

I concur. Tires cleaned and in a bag and car on a stand so the suspension is not loaded.

Tires in a bag, but stored in a hot garage?

Is the JCon zip lock bag enough or should I bring them inside? I'd prefer to keep all my RC gear together in the garage, so I don't forget something next time I pack and go.

I have 2 car stands. One is a baking pan that I picked up at the dollar store which holds my 1/8 buggy (it really does say Betty Crocker). For my short course I have a plastic trim pan for paint. Total investment : about $2.50

My local hobby store has a car stand that says Proline on the shelf for $38. Looks bitchin', but I like my Betty Crocker better

Yes, definitely take them off and zip lock them, then place them in large food containers (tupperware) and place in cool dry place away from the sun.

I have a separate set of wheels with tires dedicated for display.
