Default HV servos

Hi, I recently bought 2 used savox 1268sg hv servos. Upon receipt I tested them on a 2s setup already on my bench. Neither worked, no centering, no response, not even the static buzzing. Dr Google suggested I would at least get a glitching brown out at 6v with the esc internal bec, and that I might try an external bec or even direct connection to battery. No response at all suggests I may have 2 dead units right? I'm hoping someone here may say I need to definitely feed them in a different manner, I'm going to try a 4s combo and an external bec on 2s. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yep and yep. I have since tried them through a 4s powered system yet still with an internal bec output of 6v. One is still unresponsive, the other worked / stopped / worked / stopped etc. I'm trying to pinpoint the issue without cutting & soldering in case I have faulty units, the seller seems happy to help out.

My Hitec 5565mg servos wouldn't do anything on a 2A internal BEC, and it probably uses less power than your Savox. On a 2.5A Traxxas VXL it was fine, or with the 2A and a glitchbuster it wsa fine. What's the amp output of your ESC?
