Default Receiver Problem

Hello. Bought HPI TF-11 transmitter, RF-11 receiver, HPI Firebolt 15T and SC 15WP ESC. Hooked everything up and the receiver doesn't appear to be on (no LED). The ESC is flashing Green. I have a 2s lipo and I think it might need charged (my charger broke need a new one) There must be some charge for the ESC to kick on. Does an RF11 need a battery case with 4 AA's? Should I fully charge the lipo? Thanks.

Make sure your steering servo is in channel 1 and ESC in 2.

Should not need an external battery box.

Need to make sure battery is charged.

Flashing green from what I can find means throttle applied. First check your trims on the radio to make sure everything is in neutral. Esc will go into safety mode if it starts up with throttle on.

Also make sure you plugged the wires in the right direction on the receiver. Most brands/models these days if you have it flipped the wrong way they will simply not power up.

If you have a receiver pack (or access to on) you can hook that up instead of the ESC and verify base function (bind and steering).

Thanks guys. It was a combination of these items. Mainly the battery. I gave it a good full charge and it worked.
