I would assume at worst traxxas would have a decent battery that would fit it. But there should be no shortage of options, just do not get one of those 5c or 10C lipos that are used in Airsoft. It was years ago but I found some good batteries on the cheap on eBay when I used to have an RC18.

Found this on amazon... it may work? Need to verify the fit.
