Tamiya Toyota FJ Cruiser (CC-01 Chassis)
hello all:
after a lot of suffering from nitro wheels, i have decided to move to electric. i was going to buy subjected kit but then i thought i should get some views 1st from wise heads
few questions'
1- any reason i should buy this/shouldn't buy this (pros & cons)
2- is this kit easy to build?
3- what tool i need in order to get it done
4- anything else than Tx Rx and servo which i need for RTR
5- any other source to buy this other than eBay? cheapest option?
6- which tool kit i should buy to complete the build?
7 (FUTABA MAGNUM 2PL-AM Multiple) will the Rx-tx and servos compatible with this kit?

it is a pretty good kit, but isn't a very good crawler or basher. light trail driving is really all it can do without a whole bunch of mods. you will need a phillips screw driver and a 7mm nut driver. it is a pretty simple kit, but not "easy" you will need a servo, something with 120+ oz in of torque and a radio. I would go for the futaba 3pl, as it is 2.4 ghz, and great for the money. you will also need a brushed esc, and i think a motor (some tamiya kits come with motors, some not) and if yours doesn't, you will need a motor too.
