+3 Second car!

I'd buy a second car and keep it fresh.
I'd ask myself what I don't need.
I'd keep some transmission parts and gears, belts too (if applicable).

I'd stay compact as possible.

have never had any motor esc problems but I would recommend

Spur
Arms
Shock Tower
driveline (they can bend)
Bearings
Spare screw kit (best investment I've ever made)
Servo doesn't have to be super nice just enough to finish race day

Yes, a spare servo is a good idea if you don't bring multiple cars. Never fun to not be able to run... I made a rc rhyme

Can anyone recommend some spares for the b4.1. I've bought a few like front arms, rear arms, towers etc but I don't have any spare screws or anything like that.

Can anyone link me to where I can purchase some screws and other small assorted needed things please?

Its funny that i saw this thread. I was just thinking a few days ago that i keep way too many spare parts. I inventoried everything and i have enough spares for my mbx7 to build 1 3/4 new buggies minus chassis. Im like SC10RACER96, i like to be over prepared

hexscrew packs seems to be good for generic black oxide screws. supposed to be good quality.

I think I would keep tap/tap handle (oversized), and screws.
It'll keep you going after those inevitable "oh shoot", stripped screws.

You should have a set of RPM ball cup because factory one's break easily.

all the hand tools needed to disassemble the model im using. along with a electric screwdriver.old craftsman version with A123 battery(no more NiCads).charger wps..a small dual doored fishing lure box filled with every type of smaller screw and many extra jam screws.. a parts chassis or 2.. extra esc and whatever motors in in car im running....extra radio and receiver.butane solder iron w solder. I carry so much stuff but in all the years Ive been racing I have used things many times and 1 or 2 things once for others.(nothing like handing a fellow racer a tool he desperately needs) it comes down to what can you afford to carry and if you want to just help You or others.. start small the stuff you need for your model A parts chassis is way cheaper than paying retail for the same parts.my charging box has its own smoke fire detector in it and 4 layers of fire proof cloth (ive never used but its there)
I know guys that have 3 foot tall tools boxes jam packed and still come see me..My extra gears sits in back of my suby waiting,,

Spare roller +4.

Once I began doing this, it eliminated any guessing on which parts to stock as spares, which not. It also reduced the volume of spares that I carried. Having a spare roller also keeps all the parts together in one easy to find, easy to store location.

Cheers and good luck racing. AC
