Default lipo question

Do I need ROAR approved Lipos to run races at a ROAR sanctioned track? I just got a turnigy lipo, but it was the wrong one that isn't approved. So im wondering if I should return it and buy the approved one one or does it even matter?

Thanks!

It says on the rules section for the track that the only battery requirement is 2S, but I think I'll just call them to make sure.
