Upgrades?

Default Upgrades?

I am looking to upgrade my car but I have no idea what parts to buy I have an exceed RC car with everything stock even the battery. Have around $150 to spend. Can anyone provide any suggestions?

Oh and also I would like to use this car mostly for drifting which involves locking the rear diff but I haven't got the slightest clue how to do that

Don't put any money in an exceed product. Take that $150 and put it in a Hpi, kyosho,etc...

Unfortunately not, if you really want to invest in anything, try looking at a new radio. I think you can pick up a spektrum dx2s for around that price. Although I don't really care for spektrum because of constantly having to add glitch busters to every car I drove, that's why I switched to airtronics.

A new radio that supports multiple models will be a great asset to invest in. That way building new kits doesn't seem as hard to swallow because a good chunk of the investment was already taken care of with the radio. Just buy a new receiver for the car and your set. Just remember, in this hobby you get what you pay for.
