Default Basic Electric On Road Car Advice

So back in the day I had TC3 that I loved and used primarily for cruising in a parking lot and occasionally raced, I have recently moved near an indoor on road track and I think it would be fun to get back into some on road action. I just don't really know what to get I don't want to spend a ton but would like something that still has a decent aftermarket support/part availability . I was kind of looking at the TC4 roller I can get it brand new from tower for about $130 but I see that the TC6.1 is out so the TC4 must be ancient would this be a poor car for parking lot speed runs and the occasional carpet race? Any advice would be appreciated.

The TC4 is still a great chassis. Not to mention if you are planning on doing speed runs you won't be worried about scratching a carbon fiber chassis. I don't know if it'll be competitive when put up against the tc6.1, or other cars like xray, hot bodies or yokomo. Just like any other kit, make sure that the parts support is there.

good to know I don't want it to be some crazy racer just don't want to get laughed at if i show up to run it at the track. Are you at the santiam hobbies in Oregon? If so I am just up the road in Salem.

Yeah, I'm in Lebanon, I don't race touring cars, but I do drift. That's why I have a hot bodies TC-FD

The TC4 has been re-released by AE and is very competitive
Just ask DARKSDIE /BATTMAN / Myron =

General rule of thumb =
When in Rome... =
Ya run what is supported parts-wise and run at your local track
