Default Setup Wheels

Hi Can someone tell me if you can use setup wheels on a onroad 1/10 nitro car to set ride height, or is it best to true up some foam tyres, as the Xray setup book recomened 59mm front and 60mm rear foam tyres.

i was going to machine up some aluminium setup wheels ,2 fronts at 59mm and 2 rear at 60mm, or should i just do 60mm allround.

any help would be great

are you planning on racing? Or are you planning on just running around? Are you planning on using foam tires or rubber tires?

If it's an actual class that your racing then I would talk to one of the guys and see how far they lathe them down. Other wise, just make the setup wheels according to the xray setup book. I would also make a set of for that measure for rubber wheels. Just in case.
