I have a front wheel drive rc car my first ever but the right wheel spins faster than the left any ideas

A couple of things to start looking at are a bad differential and binding on the left side...

It would be better if we had more information on the model of the vehicle you're having an issue with.

Yep, check for binding, rebuild the differential, check to make sure the diff is tightened enough (if a ball diff).
