I have not found much on fuel so here are my questions.

What % is best in your opinion?

Any make better than the other?

How long can you keep fuel once it is opened?

Any additives i should add?

You'll get a lot of opinions, but I run 25% in 1/8 buggies, and 16% in 1/10. general rule of thumb i've been taught is:
Engine <.21cc = 20% or lower
Engine >.21cc = 20% or higher
The other thing to keep in mind is once you pick a fuel (brand and %), stick with it. especially if its the fuel the engine was originally broken in on.

+1

I run Byron's Pro Driver 30% in my 1/8 scales. For 1/10, or bashers, I run 20%

Fletch is right on. You may need to consider your altitude when selecting fuel. Find what the local racers are running and try that. Morgan fuels, (Strike Team) don't need afterrun oil added after running. The heat range of your plug will have effect as well. Start with a medium plug like as O.S. #8

If you keep it tightly sealed, it can last that long. But every time you open it, a little moisture gets in there. Moisture is the killer for nitro fuel.
Honestly, I don't hope it lasts that long, you should be driving it!
