Default hello Associated sc10 ft or losi 22t ?

Hello, new to the forum but not to rc in general.

Here is a list of my current fleet lol

The 5th scales- 3 hpi baja's, and a losi 5ive
The 8th scales-associated sc8 e and a new in the box associated rc8.2e (winter build)
axial crawler

I just recently sold off all my nitro stuff and have a little more money to play with so I'd like to get in to 1/10 scale. My question for you guys is which one should I get?
I've had great luck with my sc8 so I was leaning toward the Associated sc10 factory kit but after reading some threads here it sounds like I mite want to go with the losi 22t.

This buggy or sc would be used on an indoor clay track with high traction.

Any input would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks

22t is a stadium truck not a buggy.

what classes are popular at your track? i bet short course is the most popular.

get the sc10 if you want to get into racing.

good to know thanks guys

so my next ?

I have a couple of friends that have the sc10 2 wheel drive they seem to be very tough. We run on my dirt track but it's gona start raining soon so we will be traveling to an indoor track which will be new to me.

That being said do I want to go 4x4 or 2 wheel like they have? I understand they are two completely different classes but I also know some guys that run the indoor track with the sc10 4x4 and they tell me the two wheel is putting down better times? Is that what you guys are finding?

4x4 sc's are beasts, and the sc104x4 is a complicated beast.

stick to 2wd, better class the hone your skills as well as a more polpular and more a more affordable class.

buy local.

kit prices don't vary much so support your local hobby shop.

does your track have a shop? if so they only carry traxxas? odd...

if you gotta buy online try stormerhobbies, omnimodels or amain.

i like to buy from stormer if i have to buy online, bob stormer is a great guy and has been supporting the hobby forever. not too mention his insane vintage rc collection!

To be honest I've never been to the indoor track and it will all be new to me it's over an hour away and I don't wont to drive with out all my ducks in a row so to speak.

There is another hs closer I'm going to stop by there today and see about ordering and pricing.

off to work now to pay for my toys

thanks again

man I can't make up my mind after talking to my lhs today I'm torn between the losi 22sct and the associated sc10.

From what I've read here it sounds like the losi maybe easier to work on.

I'd rather spend a little more to get the better rig if it is actually better and easier to work on.

I have not ran a 22sct but the sc10 is a great truck. Id go with the company your lhs has in stock.

If I went with the truck my lhs has it would be a traxxas and I've been there done that and I'm not a fan.

ok just pulled the trigger on a 22sct after talking with a couple of guys that run the sc10 they kinda wish they would of went with the 22 so that was the deciding factor.

Now for some lessons at the "new to me" indoor track it's gona be a blast this winter.
