Default Battery re-matching

how often do you guys tear down your racing packs and re-match them? the reason im asking is when my batteries were new (3300 ni-mh MATCHED) the ran great.. now that they have about 15-20 runs on them, they are so flat!! i charge at 5 amps discharge at 30amps to 3.6volts (4 cell) then store till next week..before charge i tray till .9volt per cell then charge.... never had dead shorted them... i took one pack apart and ran each cell through a cycle on my turbo 35 and the numbers when crap.. they were 400+ sec 1.170+ when new. now they are 220 ish at .999????? so what do you guys think? and to top it all off they are only 1 season old.... HELP

Well, are you overcharging, undercharging, overheating, overcooling, or just plain abusing them? If you're traying them properly, charging properly, and discharging properly then they should be fine. What matcher are they from? Are the batts worth a crap to begin with? I've never had to rematch a pack, and I abuse my cells quite nicely, but I run quality packs.

I'm using GP3300, and they still produce very good numbers after 11 months and approx 30 runs. I'm using fukuyama cells, and I also follow their guidelines, except, I keep the temperatures lower, that is 50-55 degrees celsius.

So I would also say there's either something wrong with yours packs to begin with, or the use and care.

Explain more detailed what you do, maybe we can assist you.
