I bought the Orion r10 pro with the vst pro motor and it works supr well. I have it geard at 35/72 with the timing all the way to the left. I also heard the viper motors are good but i have no personal experience with them. Good luck!!

Probably ok for 17.5 blinky. Not the best, not the worst but search on "Novak sensor board" before buying anything Novak.

This would be very good http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...w-X-Drive-175T
$185 for motor and ESC and nobody will be faster than you if you hit your gearing right. The Novak ESCs have a few settings that other ESCs dont have that can greatly increase how easy your car is to drive.

Mark, I broke a sensor on the Novak motor when putting the rotor back in. I contacted Novak and had an immediate response from them with generous support options

I still have a GTB and it's a workhorse imho. We'd also bought an LRP SXX Tourer that failed in 2 weeks and hasnt been seen since it entered the realm of LRP customer service.

So only good things to say about Novak's customer service and their products are pretty good too.
