Default Noob Question

I'm upgrading the ESC in my AE SC10 from the stock one - it's the XP 7000. I can't figure out how to get it out. Wondering if it's screwed in or glued. There is no obvious mounting screws visible. I'm thinking to just try to pry it out with a bladed screwdriver but thought I'd ask here first.

Thanks

Yes it is mounted with servo tape. Taking a flat blade and slowly prying up on it will get it to come out. Use alcohol or Goo gone to remove the left over tape if any. Make sure that the place you reinstall your ESC is nice and clean.

If you have it completely disconnected, you can remove the tray its attached to to make it easier to work on. There are two screws on the bottom of the chassis directly under the tray. Take out those two screws and you can remove the entire tray
