Default Battery run time

Hi I have a ECX Torment and I was wondering what kind of run time I should be getting out of the 1800mah battery that came with it. Thanks for the help.

1800's only going to get you a guesstimated max of about 7-8minutes depending on how you're driving it.

No real magic answer for that. The more mah the longer the run time, obviously, so it all depends on your budget.

Yeah, just want to add that if you go for too much runtime, you'll need to start to watch your motor for excessive heat. 3500 should be a pretty decent upgrade for you though.

Even with the same battery this is good info. I changed the timing within my ESC's punch controls while testing and my normally ice-cold motor got up into the 150s after 10 mins of messing around. Had I blindly slapped a battery pack on there with double the runtime I likely would have smoked the motor.
