this is the buggy I think to buy...
They suggest even 2200mAh 2S lipos but it should be good to use instead of 20C discharge lipo a 30C or is it too much ?

Hey I wouldnt recomend buying this from hobbyking. Ships generally from Hong Kong and customer service for parts and such are terrible. For 1/16th vehichles check out the Losi Mini SCT. Come with an Losi Excelliron brushless setup and is very well known for parts. A 2.4ghz RTR setup run 199 which you can beat. Very durable truck to!

I know its not 1/16th.......But Caster Racing has a 1/18th buggy/truggy and a 1/18th sct.

but HK buggy and a HK 2,4Ghz cheap radio are cheaper than the other cars suggested..obviuosly the quality is nit the same...
I Know LOSI is the best but I need a buggy RTR to drive in my litte garden

I'veseen that it possible to use a 3s 2200mAh lipoon hk1/16 buggy.
Is it better to use a 20C (recomended by hk) or 30C discharge current lipo ?

Carisma GT14B or Mini8ight, i know they are '14th scale but in every race series I know they run in 16th, and they are far better quality in terms of quality and talent!

You should also consider parts availability. No sense in buying a $50 buggy that you can't get replacement parts for when they break.

the mini 8ight is my first real RC car and I will say this.

Its better to spend a little extra now than a lot later.

Quality over Quantity wins every time.

If this is going to be your first RC I would spend anywhere from $120.00 to $250.00

Save if you must cause it will be worth it in the long run.

Don't get 1/16. There are a LOT more 1/18 cars. The bet out of them is the ae b2 buggy. If you want bigger losi mini 8ight.

i race 1/10 and have had a 1/18th before but i would definitely recommend getting a name brand car cause those cheaper ones definitely seem like a good deal but you most likely be payin a lot for parts cause there not built with great durability (the reason why there sold cheap) and the name brand cars are more guaranteed to have more places carrying parts for them
