Used to run brushed systems now I use brushless WHAT a diference the runtime is incredible. Would anyone know how to rate kv? Like what would one consider a 3800Kv

Yeah, it would probably be around around a 13.5. It wouldn't be legal for a 13.5 class though, unless the track is really lax about rules. Not that it would have any advantage. In fact it would be painfully slow compared to the other cars in a 13.5 class that allows boost.

Novak has a pretty nice chart to give the KV values of their turn rated motors, it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but it's close enough.
