Thinking of getting a brushless motor. Do I have upgrade my ESC?

I am using a 15t brushed motor at the mo.

Cheers

Yes brushless motors use different esc's but some brushles esc's will run brushed motors.

What is your setup? You'll probaly be best getting a brushless ESC/Motor combo. Unless if you have an ESC already that is capable of running either.

Its a tamiya tt-01. With a 15t thunderbolt hpi motor with a 15t esc

Just looking at brushless combos. Is a 10T brushless a overkill for this car??

I wouldn't think so, but don't have a ton of knowledge in that particular area.
