Motor Type Against Gear Ratio

Please advise the suitable gear ratio range for 10T, 11T and 12T Motors. Thanks in advance.

Dear all,

Maybe I posted a silly question before. In fact, my problem is how to select an appropriate combination of spur gear, pinion gear and Motor Type, in order to achieve a particular gear ratio. For a rookie, any suggestion?

there's no particular good gear ratio...
u will jus need 2 trial and error for a suitable gearing.

low gear ratio=low top speed but slow acceleration
high gear ratio=high acceleration but low top speed...
this is 1 of the guide line tat u can keep in mind...

but for those hot and fast motor especially,u should always try 2 keep ur gear ratio high so tat it wun heat up so fast...

always check ur motor temperature after a gear change 2 c if it's suitable for tat particular motor...
