Power Supply

can i hook up my 2 14amp ps parallel? will the combined units capable of juicing out 28amp that way or just another way of having a good detonation on pit table

Why would you want to do that? Couldn't you just keep them apart and it would do the same exact thing? I wouldn't even bother. Also, wouldn't you want to connect them in seris so that they will come together? Like I said, I wouldn't try it.

I woldnt do it - if they aint EXCATLY equal, strange things can happen...

I don't think it would work because the first power supply would only output a max of 14 amps to the second power supply so the second power supply would only get an input of 14 amps from the first power supply. At least that is what I think.

Sort of, yes. That's the way things go with batteries, but the ability of two power supplies to get friendly with each other depends on the power supply design(s). At the very least, you'll want sufficiently-rated diodes protecting each PS from reverse spiking. Shouldn't hurt to try as long as you monitor both for unusual heating... I wouldn't try it if you weren't willing to trash them both, however.
