Default REALLY newbish question...

I finally have a radio I like. If I want to buy rcvrs for my other cars to use the same radio, is it just as simple as just buying a corresponding rcvr for each of them?

Yes. That simple. Find out which receivers are compatible with your radio then buy that receiver for any car you want to run from that radio.

Also make sure your radio can support multiple profiles otherwise you'll have to reset every time you switch models.
I believe most do today unless it's really really entry level.

I think you're out of luck here with multiple profiles. Too bad, for that price I would've expected a digital screen with at least a 10 model memory. You should've grabbed one of those 2.4 HK radios like I suggested lol.
In any case, you call now if you want to readjust your trims and such for the other models. I think it would be a pain though.
