Default Need some info how to replace the front main bearing on a losi 454

Hello all! I could've sworn I created a thread in monster trucks for this but I'll post it here too..I bought a used losi lst xxl. The guy said he couldn't get it tuned. I figured there was prob an air leak so I tested and found one on the front main (plugged carb off & blew thru the fuel intake hose while puttin soapy water on all the mating surfaces of motor & carb). So my question is how do I remove the connecting rod from the crank so I can get the crank to slide out so I can change the front main. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Remove the back plate
Remove the cooling head and head button
Turn the crank to lower the piston until you can slip a plastic zip-tie into the exhaust port and above the piston (use the thick end if possible)
Turn the crank to raise the piston, the pressure on the zip-tie should pop the cylinder sleeve up out of the block partway.
Pull the zip tie and remove the sleeve completely (note orientation)
You'll now be able to flex the piston and rod enough to slide it off the end of the crank and remove it.
Slide the crank out the back of the engine and you can now access the front bearing.

It also really helps to heat the crankcase, it will help you get the bearing out easily. Sometimes a hair dryer works, sometimes you need to throw it in a 200* oven for a few minutes and use some oven mitts to handle it and tap it out from the back with a large plastic or wooden dowel.
