Default Broken horn

Does anyone know if you can repair a servo horn? I broke mine in an unfortunate jumping accident.
It is the 2075 traxxas servo.

not really, sure you could glue it back together but it will break again...soon.

if it's stripped (splines inside the horn) then it's toast for sure. horns are cheap, get an alloy one to replace it.

So you can buy a new horn and not the whole servo?
I have found new whole 2075s for like 17.00 shipped. Do you think it would be worth it to repair it or to just buy a new one?

are you talking about the splined hub sticking out of the servo that the horn bolts to?

the horn is the arm that bolts to the servo, if you broke the part that sticks out of the servo (that the horn bolts to) then you might be able to replace it, you'll need to check and see if traxxas sells spare servo parts. (i've never had a traxxas servo).most higher end servos are rebuildable.

personally i'd just replace it with something better.

Yes the stub coming out of the servo. I always thought that was the horn and the other part was the servo saver.

You will need a new gear set for your servo, you normally can't just buy the main gear which is the one you stripped. I would also buy a new servo saver/servo horn as it's probably suspect at this point as well....
