How to make RC10T3 RTR Faster?

I bought a Team Associated RC10T3 RTR electric car a couple of years ago, and now I am getting back into using it. I would like to make it go faster.......I am a newbie at this!
My car has a Team Associated Power 20 Motor. It has LRP Runner Plus Reverse ESC LRP Runner Plus Reverse

(Its exacltly the same as it was bought)

I am looking to purchase somthing from Tower Hobbies on-line.

What do I need to buy?

Any other suggestions on making my car better? New Tires?

-Better Battery (can I get it to run longer?) I am currently using a Dynamite Dyna-Sport 1500 ( I have a Dynamite Mega 2 Charger)

Battery

Thanks For Your Help!

Hey Dude!

I had a T3 RTR, and after I got it, I immediately switched the gearing. I didn't care that it was the Power 20, because I planned on replacing that anyways, so I overgeared it slightly. I ran a 20t pinion and an 84t spur... it's surprisingly faster! I was beating my friend's stock geared T3 RTR by a LONG shot!

Good luck,
Jeff

A better battery will also help you're run time, look for a 3000 Mah, i'm not sure but think tower has them in 2 packs for not much $$$ right now.

check in the chat lounge, there is a new motor company starting up, they sound good, and you may want to try them.

Exclamation

Check out some MOD motors from REEDY or D6 they absolutely run great!. Try to run 10 or 11 turn mod motors on it the check out your gearing on the AE chart and for sure you will be surprise for the outcome..
