Right Size Heatshrink

Hi All

I didnt wanna post this in electrics since it's not really completely electrics or something. Nevermind.

I have some 12 gauge wire in the post and 4mm bullet connectors looking for some cheap heatshrink. As always Ebay is my friend 1 dollar but which will be the right size?

1) 5mm tubing shrinks to less then 2.5mm 150570257162
2) 8mm tubing shrinks to 4mm or a little less 160552776115

Anyone have experience with this? Do I need something in between (imperial sizes are also available)

Sorry I cant help with the specs but.....
Ace Hardware, Lowes, and Home Depot all carry heat shrink
if ya want to just run in and pick some up and not have to order it.

I use 12ga Deans wire and the shrink I use is 1/4" - the ones you listed are really in between, 1/4 ~ 6.4mm. I'd get 1/4" if they have it that way.

This works on 5.5mm bullets, I haven't tried 6mm ones.

Should have mentioned I'm only using 4mm bullets. 1/4 inch would be fine it seems a little big though, but if it works for the wire it should work for the bullets right? Hmm

Worked just fine on the 4mm bullets I used to build a set of hard cased lipo power wires - 12ga Deans wire and Deans conn on the other end.
