plastic welding
Hi all new to the rc thing and was wondering does any body repair their broken parts ( ie. frames ,a-arms , t-plates) with a plastic welder? If so what repair ribbon are you using? I have been waiting on parts for a week and have been trying to piece ti back together to try out new motor esc combo but nothing is worked yet. this sucks Any advise would be appreciated. thanks

most people just buy new parts. i dont know anyone who tries an fixes them. it seem like more aggravation than anything.

CA glue can be used but if its a high stress part, which it probably is or it wouldnt have broken in the first place, it should be replaced. what i do is keep a replacement on hand for parts that often break so im not down until the parts arrive. then just replace your own stock and it doesnt matter how long it take to arrive.

+1 having the slightest bend on aluminum piece can be a headache when trying to figure out why your ride is not acting normal!!
