Well, I can tell you the 5200 wont fit. Learned that the hard way! I would grab the one that isnt on back order. Ive ran the 5000mAh 25c black gardcase and Im running the black 4000mAh 30c Turnigy now and there great packs. The 4000 that Im running is a perfect fit and the way the leads come outta the battery are set up perfect for the Rustler

And its in the US warehouse
BIG plus..... Its cheap!

what was the difference between the 5000MAH Vs the 4000MAH runtime?

The 5000mah would provide more runtime than the 4000mah battery.

I would say 10-12 minutes more with the 5000mah vs the 4000mah.

but the less mah pack will make the truck lighter, which can be good or bad. make it handle differently

the 4000 would be perfect because it is lighter. in a rustler, lighter the better. and that 5000 has like 4 gauge wire! ITS HUGE!! at least the 4000 you can solder on a deans or a traxxas plug without much hassle.

i agree, since the rustler has the battery box down the middle its not much about balancing the truck, its about using the lightest battery you can without pushing the pack beyond its limits.
