I'd say just soak the parts in acetone, or thinners. It may compromise the integrity of the parts though... Not too sure.
You can use reducer, as it's a little less harsh than thinners/acetone and will do the same trick.
Let it soak, and it'll come off with a mild brush/rag.

use acetone to remove the paint already on the parts, it wont take long for it to come off. the boil them in whatever color you want of RIT dye. the color will be all thru the piece and wont chip off like paint. it will also make the part a little softer and less prone to breakage. a lot of racers boil composite parts to make them last longer.

Say it wasn't painted and it came from rpm like that. Is there any way I could still take it off or are they dyed. I've never own any rpm and this truck is 2nd hand so I don't know if it's painted or not. And thanks for the help guys.

No no no that's not what meant. I have two sets. Ones already on the truck but they're different colors. I wanted to change them to maybe bright orange or bright yellow. But I'll try on the spare ones first.

i wouldn't soak in acetone or paint thinner as quoted many times before... i would lean more towards soaking them in "purple power" you can get it at the auto parts store with the rest of the cleaners. Its how we strip the color off of wheels and stuff for crawling. then dye them all the color you want
beware the purple power.. use gloves when handling the purple power and soak the parts for like 24 hours.

Are the parts anodized aluminum?
