Default Help with Pit Bull Charger

I feel ashamed that I have to ask, but I have been running nitro for the past few years and want to get back to racing electric and I havent kept up on batteries or chargers...

I have 2400 SMC batteries that I have never charged...and a Pitbull charger.

What is the best settings to charge these batteries? And I do want to get an equalizing tray (or a discharger) but am not sure which one is good and wont cause my girlfriend to give me the old evil eye for spending too much!

Help please!!!!

I would charge at like 4-5 amps and a delta of .4 - taht is what I used and got great results.

Also ce site might have some recommendations - also the battery matchers also like smc, fusion, power push - just surf a little.

If you are getting into racing to race then I would look for a novak smart-tray and maybe going up to 3300 cells - not sure who still runs 2400's out there except for spec classes etc.

Right on...yeah I know not too many people still run 2400's but thats what I got (3 unused matched SMC packs)....and I just want to run those a little bit to get back into the feel of electric racing and then go into the 3300's.

I plan on racing in the stock classes (not really keen on all the maintainence involved with those MOD motors!!!).

I was checking out the Novak tray and just a little pricey...but I see alot of people reccomending them.

Thanks so much for the help!!!! I am sure I will have more questions once I go to NiMh!!!
