Check out the Track Locator Forum right here on this site. Post your question there if you cant find a post about San Diego.

Im sure you have great tracks in San Diego but I know that one of the best facilities in California is SoCal Raceway in Huntington Beach which has offroad and onroad tracks indoors(no nitros allowed). Lots of pro drivers hang out there. It wouldn't be too far from San Diego. Maybe a 2 hour drive?

Check out their website for more info:

In San Diego, Off Roaders race at Familie Hobbies in Santee on Friday nights; electric only. For On Raod, parking lot races is your only choice. Hobby Central in Poway races 2 weekends a month. Contact them. Also, Hobbytown in San Marcos on last Sunday? Nice and friendly and great for beginners, very casual.

Depending on where you live in san Diego and how far you are willing to drive, you can go to Socal or other places in Orange County too.

Socal raceway is the place to race at. If you don't want to drive that far you can check out the parking lot racing in Poway (hobby central). Up in Socal you'll become a better driver because there is so much info you can learn from all the other racers that go there. Plus you get a very competive bunch of racers that know their stuff.
