Anything can cause the car to glitch. But keep in mind it's the receiver that sends noise to the motor and/or servo. What causes that can be anything from freq waves bouncing around in a carbon fiber car, esc operating at a freq that interferes with the freq in the receiver, etc.

There should be no need for extra caps on todays SMT motors. Thoroughly examine your wiring for nicks, tears and abrasions. Twist your motor leads around each other. Be sure your wiring is neat and tidy. Try a different crystal set. Try a different speedo. Try a different servo. Clean and re-brush the motor. Be sure all solder joints are solid and secure. Make sure none of the antenna wire is missing. Do not coil the antenna wire. Do not bundle the antenna wire. Be sure all the servo plug contacts are tight and clean.

I'm sure there's more, but that's a start.

Are certain raido systems more likely to glitch than others?

Has anyone tried RF filters?

Thanks in advance.
Hey, try NOT to put the reciever on top of the servo. I did once in my EVO 3 and it completely threw the car when I was racing. It's a bad move.
