I recently upgraded to an xs3 and love it. I really have no complaints. 150 is a great deal, especially if it comes with Rx and servos.

I use one, and it is more than enough for me. It replaced my XR3, which I also liked well. I do believe that I am gonna get the XS3 Pro, it's just too sweet.

I have just recently purchased mine and I can say for $150 it is a good radio. I love mine and being synthesized has made my life extremely easy. There are few radios that I have truly liked and this is one of the few I can say I do. The price/features are not up there in the M8 class but it has all of the features that I need. I do not believe you will truly outgrow the radio.

I've been wanting to upgrade from my Futaba T3PDF to a synthesized radio, but I can't swing the money for an M8 --- what are the feature differences in the M8 and the XS3? (or any other decent synth radio?)

Other than being overpriced..the M8,If your looking at a synthesized radios the JR is not the only game in town.Airtronics has the MX-3S it has most of the features that the M8 has, does not have the anti lock brakes(I had an M8 and never used this feature)Has 18 model memory.Another synthesized radio that should be out in the states soon is the Futaba 3PM-FM,Thats the radio I would wait for, it has the same features as the M8,plus more.. if you own an FM Futaba already you could use the reciever from your old system.plus the cost is way down on this one.

I got the XS3 radio last weekend and I have not raced in about 3 years and I have to say that the raod is really comfortable, easy to use.

I saw the price as an investment. The regular radio was $150 and for $100 more I got all the 75 channels, cannot go wrong there especially that I am getting back into the racing and going to national and big events so I do not have to worry about crystals - also one less thing to carry and worry about.

You also get 2 nice servos that are far above the servos given with other radios.

Good buy and enjoy it - Got the pro so I am blinging in silver!

The XS3 is by far my most favorite radio, its so comfortable to hold, and the synthesized technology is great to have when you're constantly going to the track. I think its worth every penny. mho

I had a M8 and had nothing but crystal and reciever problems and I got rid of it to get the XS3. I didnt want to get the synthesized system for the M8 because I didnt want to have $600 in my radio.

So,... I love my XS3
