Default Help selecting a car kit......

Ok gang I need some more help.... I have decided on a 1/10 scale electric sedan model themed around the nascar chevy. I was initial going to buy the frame and build upon it however I am thinking it may be better to get a kit and add the Losi shell to it. I am wondering if there are, or better yet, what the best kit would be for me to start with??? And where to get?? It seems I get real confused by all the different kits and what they go to.

Thanks for the help..............

what about a tc3?? The TC3 is cheaper 150 ish, if you get the Racer kit..and is still a great car...just hop it up and it will be just as good as a ft tc3...or keep it the way you want it...but you cant go wrong with either the losi or associated, both are supported by most LHS...so its up to you

The TC3 may be cheaper, but the XXXS is much easier to work on, doesn't have any torque steer, has a lower parts count, and is nearly impossible to tweak. You can find a good used G+ for around $150 if you look hard enough.

XRAY all the way! You can find a used one with some pretty good hopups for about the same price as a fttc3 or xxx-s g+ but its a very solid car.

Choose a car with good local support - not funny to have a car collecting dust, just because you cant get a new part-XXX, which usually only cost 10$...

Thats your opinion..I have an Xray FK and I dont share your opinion on the Xray,You should list your reasons on why it's the best..could it be the over priced parts..jk,but really if your going to make such a bold statement you should say why you think this is true..

Hmmm. To me it seems pretty obvious, that Rice like the XRay because of handling and durability....

As far as handling goes it's no better than any other TC out their,For me I thought the Xray was slow in stock,in terms of durability I have broken hubs,so in my opinion it's the same as most other TC's,No doubt it's a good TC,but in order for a car to work really well it needs to fit YOUR driving style,Their is no perfect TC,I have 3 Xrays and I never could get them to work for me,I have a few Pro4's,and I'm one lap faster with them than I am with the Xray,I also dont think that the Pro4 is any better than the Xray,Just better for me.
