Nice to hear! I built the M04-M, it was a real blast to build, and very easy, so i know you've had fun:)

Timbulb 11-25-2010 06:06 PM

Awesome. M04 is a fun car to build and drive.

Now teach him about the shift key.

The Hawaiian 11-25-2010 06:37 PM

yeah I was very proud of him. I didn't need to help him that much and he had a blast. I bought this kit used and he has been driving it, I just thought it would be a fun project and a good leaning opportunity. so dad's tare down one of your kits that you have a manual for and let your youngins build there first kit. brought back great memories.

I just stopped racing, closest track is a three hour trip, so we just bash around the house now, and the 8yr. old can get invalved

nice post :)

One of the fastest racers in my area is 12. Look out! It might not be long before he's beating you on the track :tire::D:tire:

Happy Thanksgiving, all you Americans.

Thats awesome, i'm glad you guys had a fun holiday!!
My first car was an original Tamiya Blackfoot that I built myself :) RTR Kits are easy, but sometimes its fun to build it yourself!! Plus then if something breaks you know how to fix it. ;)

Got a Datsun 280z body for x-max, it's sweet. I'll put pic's up when I'm done painting it, with my dad's help
