Default Traxxas T max

i'm very new at this. sorry everyone started somewhere right?
I bought a used car and I am trying to learn as much as I can about it so I understand how it works and when i breaks I can fix it? hopefully I am doing this right way before I go out and spend 500 on a car and not know how to fix it...

I replaced a gear in the transmission.. and got it running!! YAY!

I looked in the owners manual on the traxxas website before i posted this.. i did't see anything about transmission fluid?? do these cars need any? How about diff fluid??

thanks!!

No, the trans runs dry - the gears are self lubricating. The diffs use grease and not diff fluid - not sure if yours are the sealed type or not, if sealed, then after cleaning all the grease out, you could use diff fluid. I had a 2.5Tmaxx and the diffs were not sealed.
