You should inquire at your local hobby shop. Try this one:
Bristol Hobbies 8671 198th Ave, Bristol, WI, United States +1 262-857-3400 This track is about 25 miles away from you, I think. http://www.harbor-hobby.net I'm not from the area. I just felt like trying to help today. |

not many people do drifting. i do it and the only place i go to is a parking lot or a tennis court. btw, those are soooooo smooth but you get kicked out alot. hehe just find a smooth, level surface and set up cones.

oh, and another tip is you can use chalk to draw the track. helps you stay in your lines.

I'm new enought to this that I'm not even sure what a drift track is. But there are several off-road tracks in a reasonable driving distance from Twin Lakes, if that is of any interest. Brookfield has an indoor track. There is an outdoor track in Round Lake Beach, IL and another one in Merengo, IL. An indoor carpet track in Wintrhop Harbor, IL (this is the Harbor Hobbies link that Locked sent). I know there are tracks in Rockford IL, and in Monroe WI, but I've never been to either of them. I've been to the place in Bristol. It was closed when I was there--has pretty limited hours. I'm not positive, but I didn't get the impression that there was a track there, and I vaguely thought that this might be a place that focussed on nitro. I'd suggest you call them to get info rather than just showing up at a closed business like I did. That's about all I can think of, off the top of my head.
